A Website That Feels Like a Gallery
About the project
Some artists create work that speaks for itself. Lyn Bartolo? Her art doesn’t just speak-it mesmerises. An award-winning artist based in Cairns, Queensland, Lyn’s pieces are intricate, layered, and filled with detail. Her old website, however, was… less inspiring. Built on Shopify, it wasn’t just clunky-it was charging gallery-level fees for a space that didn’t feel like a gallery at all.
So, Gen Ya Digital stepped in. The goal? A website that feels like walking into an actual gallery-clean, minimal, and built to let the art take centre stage. We moved her site to WordPress, cutting unnecessary costs and giving her a space that’s beautiful, functional, and made for showcasing her work. The new site features:
- A stunning, minimal layout with white space to let each piece breathe.
- A sleek Accolades & Awards page to celebrate her achievements.
- A Latest News section for gallery openings and updates.
- A dedicated Contact page for enquiries and commissions.
- SEO optimisation to ensure Lyn Bartolo is the first thing people see when they Google her.
Looking Ahead
Oh, and that logo? It’s based on her own signature, lifted straight from one of her artworks—because what better way to brand an artist than with their own brushstrokes?
Now, Lyn’s website finally reflects the calibre of her work—elegant, timeless, and completely her own. Need a website that actually works for you? Let’s chat.
Testimonial
”I wanted a website that felt like a gallery, and Alyssa made it happen. It’s beautiful, easy to use, and truly showcases my art. I couldn’t be happier.
